Israel, How They Use the Occupied Territories, Who Should Decide?

Figure 4 shows that Sephardites have more in common with Palestinians than Sephardites with Ashkenazis.

BB Melman ‎@Patrick, Yes, I've been showing that same evidence for years already! When the 50% or so of "Palestinian Arabs" who derive from Jewish roots and were forcibly converted and Arabized acknowledge their Jewish roots and jettison the Nazi movement that they elected to rule them there will be peace. Not a day sooner.about an hour ago · Like · 1 person

Patrick Morcillo ‎BB Melman Yes, we are arguing about semantics, as the word was given a new meaning, as per my Wiki above.

When people say "Holocaust" they may talk about the Shoa or other Genocides depending on context.

My context was clear by the wiki I gave, IMHO, and I was not trying to mislead, etc.about an hour ago · Like

Mark Israel ‎@Patric it's the other way round Askenazim have more in common with Palestinian Arabs than Sephardim and Mizrahim do with Palestinian Arabs. Sepahardi, Mizrachi and Askenazi geneitics are almost the same. The Levi and Cohen gene is no different with any of these sub ethnic groups.about an hour ago · Like · 2 people

Aharon Moshe Sanders BB, thank you for pondering my question so deeply. Here's a better one. Imagine for a moment that all the anti-Israel anti-Jewish Propaganda was true (IMAGINE) then if we Truly Controlled the Media as the anti-semites say, why we would allow all this anti-Israel, anti-Jewish garbage be published, televised or posted on the World-Wide-Web?about an hour ago · Like · 1 person

Aharon Moshe Sanders The follow up is, it is so apparently obvious that our enemy (who should also be considered the enemy of all peaceful and freedom loving people) is becoming far more sophisticated in their use of media, and Propaganda techniques. If so, then the amplification of these biased media reports was also "predicted as well as anticipated by our enemy. The latest well funded Propaganda war clearly began a new era with the Flotilla Multi-Media Extravaganza complete with the type of "crazy radical fundamental Jihadists who were more than willing to lay down their lives for their radical cause. The only thing more dangerous than "people" like this to point to would have been the Japanese Kamikaze fighters who were willing to plunge to their death to inflict damage upon the enemy. I am quite certain that the victims of the Flotilla's Families were well paid by the well funded enemy of all peace loving and freedom people. Patrick Morcillo ‎BB Melman You can hold the land and occupy it, and the UN allows that. What you can NOT do, is displace the civilians of the occupied territories with the occupying ones.

Me personally, I have no problem for the IDF to be in the occupied territories, but I have a problem with the settlers.

IMHO, although there may well be some anti-semitism in the world's scrutiny of Israel's behavior, at the very same time, by preaching non-stop that Israel is a democracy, you DO invite that scrutiny due to the hypocrisy, IMHO. For example, Clergy sexual abuse of minors (i.e. Priests, Rabbis, Immans, etc) is about 4% as compared to 8% as a population of males as a whole. It is the fact that the Religious leaders claim to be moral, that invites the scrutiny.

Have a nice day, and although our positions are different, I respect your right to have a different opinion from me.53 minutes ago · Like

BB Melman What about if Jordan is recognized as the true usurper of the British Palestine Mandate, even as the British illegally tore it off and gave it to the Hashemites of the Arabian Hejaz. That Jordan illegally occupies 78% of the Palestine Mandate, in violation of the internationally ratified San Remo Agreement is oft forgotten. They could be free and happy there of their own volition.43 minutes ago · Like

Aharon Moshe Sanders ‎@ Patrick, (my new friend)...thanks for the link, went there read it, found nothing to support your conclusion. These areas may be called occupied territories, and yes there are all kinds of UN kind of rules regarding them, but are trying to say that Israeli citizens do not "have" the right to live in these "occupied" territories. Aharon Moshe Sanders Well Patrick did accept my friendship request, because how can ever hope to influence others who disagree with us if we are not willing to become their friends. I asked him to support his conclusion regarding a hotly debated issue "Should there be any restrictions regarding how or what Israel chooses to do with the the land they won in a war to protect their existence? The Land that Jews love and wish to live in peace within context of a world wide community. Israel is History itself, does anyone truly believe that the Holiest sites on the Planet should be entrusted to a fundamental regime, which is oppresses human rights as easily as children refuse to eat their vegatables?11 minutes ago · Like

Aharon Moshe Sanders Thanks BB, I really do have to go, I think this is going to be a record setting comment provoking post, you were right to post it, after all, look at all the persuasion, reasoning, logical arguments being proposed here. The Jews have the right to live and build in Israel, the West Bank and Gaza are part of Israel. One could say that the Blood of all those Syrian Pawns for Political and Propaganda purposes is upon the Obama Admin (if others helped him decide to invoke the "Pre-1967" phrase, because History may bare out that what ever becomes of this latest anti-Israel Media attack was clearly initiated by his words.
