News reports say Israeli forces are preventing non-residents from entering the area.

Its simply impossible (and naive) to believe there can be peace under these sort of conditions. When the rhetoric for peace reaches certain critical levels, enemies of Israel utilize the moment to storm the border!
ReplyDeleteAs cynical as this may sound perhaps "all this talk of compromise, a two state solution and peace is the problem itself". These hollow promises and seemingly endlessly complex (and never popular) compromises only bring about these sort of demonstrations.
